It gets better. . . "how," you ask?!?! According to Ubisoft's official website Haze's release date has been moved up to May 20, 2008; a first for this PlayStation 3 exlusive. We previously reported that Haze would release on May 23, 2008, but that is no longer the case.

The PlayStation 3s previously announced firmware v2.30 is now live! With the firmware update comes a much needed revamped PlayStation Store as well as DTS-HD Master Audio support.

This is one of the most useful updates that the PlayStation 3 has received since its debut launch, November 11, 2006. Avid PlayStation and Blu-ray supporters are very happy that Sony is listening to its consumers (including BHF staff members).
"From day one, we have stayed committed to growing and enhancing PlayStation Store, and today we are pleased to deliver what our customers have been asking for - a more streamlined storefront that makes it easier and faster to find what they want," said Susan Panico, senior director, PlayStation Network, SCEA.

 Before Small After Small

Once a user has updated their PS3 to the latest system software (Ver. 2.30), they will be able to browse twice as many primary categories, for faster, simpler navigation. Among those categories include "New Releases", Downloadable Games", "View All By Title", "Add-Ons", "Demos", "Videos", "Themes & Wallpapers", and "Featured Items".

Moreover, users will be pleased that Sony has implemented a preview feature that enables them to stream content such as trailers and view screenshots of items before they buy. In addition a red shopping bag icon has been added allowing customers to know what they have already purchased or downloaded.
